Ken Kidd, LGBTQ activist and Director of Special Projects at NYU, tells his story of surviving a brutal hate crime in New York City. Ken's resiliency pushed him to become activated; he joined the first ever Pride march and protests at Stonewall, became part of the LGBTQ civil rights group ACT UP, and, recently, pushed to get the first permanent Pride flag raised on federal land in Greenwich Village.
