When we live from wholeness, we have a deeper sense of general well-being and are more able to respond to the vicissitudes of life from a place of poise and balance. Like many things, wholeness is less a destination and more of a continuous journey, where the more we learn and grow, the more there is to realize and achieve. Perfection isn’t the ultimate goal in wholeness, because wholeness is a constantly moving target, whereas perfection is a fixed point. Important hallmarks of wholeness include self-awareness, mental flexibility, emotional regulation, physical well-being, and spiritual fulfillment.
