Time management is about understanding how and why we chose to spend our time the way we do, and then coming up with effective strategies that can help us make the choices that reflect our true desires and goals. It’s not necessarily coming up with the “perfect formula” of schedules, timers, lists, and calendars, but investigating the emotional, biological, and cultural influences in our Relationship with Time and then tailoring our strategies to address those factors we’d like to change. There are many strategies that may or may not work for us, depending on the unique way we move through the world.
