Sabbath

Sabbath, in Abrahamic religions, is the day set aside for rest and worship. Depending on the religion, the day of the week varies, but the overall concept remains the same: devote one day a week to rest and observance of spiritual and religious practices. Some spiritual practitioners outside of traditional religions have adopted the language and intentions behind keeping a Sabbath as part of their practices, recognizing the physical and spiritual need of intentional rest and recovery in a healthy life.
