Eating can be an essential pleasure of life. But when we lose our appetite—whether we are actively turned off by the though of food or just lack the desire to eat—accessing nutrition becomes a chore. Frequently, a loss of appetite can be a symptom of high stress, an undiagnosed illness, or a side affect of medication or treatment for a separate issue.
