Loneliness articles

Below are the best articles we could find on Loneliness.

Loneliness is the state where our desire or expectation for meaningful human connection is not being met. We can feel alone in a crowd of people if we feel unseen or unheard; we can feel alone even with regular social media communication due to the lack of human contact or confirming body language that we are welcome, accepted, and interesting. Loneliness is often accompanied by thoughts of being unwanted, undesirable, and unworthy, and when we start believing those thoughts, the loneliness becomes self-perpetuating. Prolonged feelings of isolation and disconnection have direct impacts on our physical health, which is why it is so important to balance out our thought patterns and find a way through it.
