Connection is a crucial part of well-being, no matter what culture we are from or communities we are part of. Connection is the act of seeing and being seen, of living in and acknowledging physical, emotional, and spiritual interdependence with one another. But even though it’s a necessary, natural part of living in human community, it is still a skill that we can struggle with and want to improve on.
