Whether individually or part of a team, whether in competition with others or just ourselves, being an athlete is a fundamental part of who we are. But when we run into relationship problems with our body and its capabilities—or when those relationships are complicated by cultural expectations and beliefs about athletes—it can impact all areas of our life and health.
