Maharishi Mahesh Yogi



Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (born Mahesh Prasad Varma, 1918–2008) was an Indian Yogi, developer of transcendental meditation in the modern scope, and the leader and guru of the subsequent movement and organization this led to. Often referred to as the “giggling guru” for his attitude and demeanor, he traveled the world teaching his perspective and practice of transcendental meditation.
