We already have everything we need. There is no need for self-improvement. We are one blink of an eye away from being fully awake.

The greatest satisfaction comes not from chasing pleasure and avoiding pain, but from the radical acceptance of life as it is, without fighting and clinging to passing desires.
Our society doesn’t promote self-acceptance and it never will. First of all, self-acceptance doesn’t sell products. Capitalism would fall if we liked ourselves the way we are now. Also, people who feel shamed and inadequate themselves tend to pass it on.
The strongest relationships are between two people who can live without each other but don’t want to.
Letting ourselves be forgiven is one of the most difficult healings we will undertake. And one of the most fruitful.
The thing is to understand myself: the thing is to find a truth which is true for me, to find the idea for which I can live and die. That is what I now recognize as the most important thing.
