Two coaches talk about reigniting passion for your work
I’ve realized that work-life balance isn’t an objective measure that can be quantified by the number of hours you work. It’s subjective. It’s personal. It’s about deciding what’s important to you, and spending your time and effort on those things every day.
One common piece of advice you might hear when looking for jobs is to “follow your passion.” Following the work, ideas and projects that make you feel fulfilled and motivated can help lead you to jobs you will enjoy and succeed in.

When we equate work we love with “not really working,” it propagates a belief that if we love it so much, we should do more of it—all of the time, actually. But this mentality leads to burnout, and the impact on our mental health can be profound.
