Does your life constantly revolve around your children without any time for yourself? If yes, then it’s time to pause and reflect.
I’ve realized that work-life balance isn’t an objective measure that can be quantified by the number of hours you work. It’s subjective. It’s personal. It’s about deciding what’s important to you, and spending your time and effort on those things every day.
One common piece of advice you might hear when looking for jobs is to “follow your passion.” Following the work, ideas and projects that make you feel fulfilled and motivated can help lead you to jobs you will enjoy and succeed in.
It wasn’t a big deal to me when I was married. But it was a big deal to her.
