OCD Training Goes Global: Working with Therapists in Pakistan

In June of 2018, the idea was born to bring an OCD training program to the Recovery House in Karachi, Pakistan. The inspiration was not only to address the scarcity of mental health services there but also to handle a lack of funding and an overall scarcity of knowledge about mental illness.

Exploring the Mental Health Stigma in Black Communities

The Black community is more inclined to say that mental illness is associated with shame and embarrassment. Individuals and families in the Black community are also more likely to hide the illness.
