Realizing the peak of one’s human potential is a divine grace promised when that wing is alive and spiritually alert. Its paralysis, however, means paralysis of the anatomical system of the human spirit; we briefly refer to this as the “poisoning of spirit.”

Before I began my spiritual practice, I lived in a world of vibration and imagination. As a dancer and choreographer from my childhood through my early twenties, I regarded life almost entirely as a dance.
As Buddhist teaching says, suffering has the potential to deepen our compassion and understanding of the human condition. And in so doing, it can lead us to even greater faith, joy and well-being.
