I’ve realized that work-life balance isn’t an objective measure that can be quantified by the number of hours you work. It’s subjective. It’s personal. It’s about deciding what’s important to you, and spending your time and effort on those things every day.
One common piece of advice you might hear when looking for jobs is to “follow your passion.” Following the work, ideas and projects that make you feel fulfilled and motivated can help lead you to jobs you will enjoy and succeed in.
Learning how to grow up and be more mature starts with knowing what you truly value. Being an adult means sticking to your values, even when it’s not popular or doesn’t benefit you.
Letting your heart’s voice be heard. A small step toward the stillness of Being.
