Constantly corrected and perpetually punished, many children with ADHD and learning disabilities develop low self-esteem. They begin to believe they’re not good enough or smart enough. Of course, we know that’s not true.
How adding 30 seconds to a bedtime routine can foster empathy in a big way.
Meltdowns happen. But when your child has ADHD, it can be more difficult for them to learn how to control emotions and impulsive reactions. Teach them how to keep their cool with a plan for action and coping strategies.
