The line between failure and success can come down to something as simple as self-talk. Powerful and positive self-talk can change your entire mindset, which can affect your actions.
An affirmation describes a specific type of positive statement usually directed toward yourself with the intent of promoting change and self-love while squashing worry and fear.
Daily affirmations are simple, positive statements declaring specific goals in their completed states. Although they sound rather basic at that level, these empowering mantras have profound effects on the conscious and unconscious mind.
Self-help books often promote the power of positive affirmations. You, me, and almost everybody in the 21st century have heard of them. But if you’ve never tried them before, the idea can seem incredibly awkward.
Many of us now realize that the kinds of thoughts we think throughout most of the day create our reality. We try to program ourselves with positive self-talk, such as: ‘I am going to have a great day. All good things will flow to me, and everything that’s supposed to happen will happen.’
